Earth Child Essentials is a dream . The vision is to create a space that feels like home—a sanctuary where the air is thick with the soothing scent of herbs and teas, and where laughter echoes from the kitchen, filled with love and joy. This is a space where women in all stages—maiden, mother, and crone—gather to share stories, knowledge, and time. It’s a place where everyone knows they are welcome, whether they come for connection, birth support, or guidance through the prenatal and postnatal journey.
I dream of a community where grandmothers make salves, mothers pour tea, and children learn the wisdom of herbs and the recipes that carry the stories . This vision honors the sacredness of everyday life, where traditional practices are woven into the fabric of modern living.
My goal is not just to offer services and products, but to create a living, breathing space that nourishes the spirit and body. It’s a place where you feel the magic of being held, nurtured, and supported—whether through birthkeeping, herbal care, or simply being in a circle of women who see you, hear you, and honor you.
Together, we are building a community that thrives on connection, healing, and growth. A space where the old ways and new ways meet, honoring both the cycles of nature and the sacred transitions in life.

Hello, I’m Hope, an Indigenous birthkeeper, doula, soap maker, and studying herbalist. I grew up in Northern BC on the beautiful Dene Zaa territory and now reside in Kelowna, within Syilx territory. I am a Cree Métis woman with mixed Scottish and Irish descent, lucky to have been raised with bits of my culture and to have spent my teen and early adult years immersed in the powwow circle, surrounded by the love of my grandparents and parents.
Losing my mother and grandfather when I was 19 shaped much of my journey, inspiring me to learn about traditional medicines, create healthier home and bath products, and step into the role of an auntie, supporting others as they navigate life's transitions. Now, as a mother of three teenage children, I’m creating the feral, dream life I’ve always desired alongside the man I love. Together, we are building a life filled with purpose, love, and connection.
In addition to my birthwork, I am an intuitive tarot reader, a level two Reiki practitioner, and a certified life coach with a focus on grief support. I believe that I am here to learn, grow, and heal, and I’m passionate about walking this path with women through all stages of life—maiden, mother, and crone. Honoring our cycles and their ties to Mother Earth and Grandmother Moon is at the heart of my work.
Through my creations—handmade soaps, bath soaks, balms, tinctures, and one day, teas; I strive to bring bits of magic and medicine into the everyday lives of families. Living with intention means doing what I love, and I am grateful to be able to offer my services in ways that honor the sacred in the ordinary.

This dedicated space allows me to create handmade products with intention and care, while keeping my environment organized and inspiring. It's a place where creativity flows freely, surrounded by the tools and magic that make my work come to life.
While I currently operate from home, I have big dreams of expanding into a dedicated building where I can better serve the community. This future space will be a gathering point for connection, healing, and the sharing of knowledge. But for now, you can easily place orders through the website, and I offer appointments for coaching, Reiki, and doula services. As we grow, I look forward to welcoming you into a larger space that reflects the vision we are building together.
